FEACO European Annual Conference "Competitiveness, innovation, business excellence and consulting in CSE Europe"

October 23-24, 2008, Dubrovnik, Croatia
On behalf of The Association of Management Consultants (AMC) the host and organizer, we are honoured to welcome you to the FEACO European Annual Conference entitled "Competitiveness, innovation, business excellence and consulting in CSE Europe"
In the face of globalization of the economy, rapid society development and most profound changes in all areas of human activity, management consulting, as one of the fastest growing service industries, has become a task force for promoting economic and social development. The conference will be a demonstration of the importance of our profession for sustainable economic development, the level of excellence of our services and our high professional standards.

Features of the Conference include plenary sessions addressed by invited speakers, referred paper sessions, panels, and other sessions with challenging themes such as:

  • the New markets in SEE,
  • Governance, local development and consulting services
  • ICT, information society, and consulting
  • Investment projects, finance and management",
  • Human resource development in the consulting industry
  • Standardization, Qualification Framework and Consulting Practice,
Presentations and discussions around these themes will provide a look into prospective for future development of consulting services in Europe.
Apart from its professional importance as a European consultancy forum, the Conference has been recognized as a meeting place of scholars and practitioners from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. Considering all participants as friends and colleagues, the organizers have made tremendous but joyful efforts to make this Conference not only a professional but also a pleasant encounter. It is no wonder then, that a large number of participants repeatedly attend the FEACO Conferences, promoting them everywhere as distinguished "Conferences for the Soul".
A tentative Conference Programme is available here. Currently, a selection board is collecting and selecting presentations on the above mentioned themes. We kindly invite everybody who wants to make a contribution to the discussion in the form of a presentation or a workshop to contact us. Please consult the Instructions for Speakers page.
A special program has been prepared for our participants and their partners so that you will not fail to see the ancient city of Dubrovnik and its beautiful surroundings. For more information, please refer to our conference and social program.
We trust that this conference will offer an excellent platform to exchange information and share experience but also a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new colleagues from all over the world.

Japanese delegation attending the FEACO conference A delegation of 12 members representing the Japanese economic industry are coming to the FEACO conference in Dubrovnik. Their goal is to network with local entrepreneurs, consultants and representatives of Croatian institutions in order to strengthen economic cooperation between Croatia and Japan.

Registration deadline extended until 10.10.2008 for attending FEACO 2008, due to a high volume of interested international participants.

CHRONOS Info (www.chronos.hr), consulting company and member of the Association of Management Consultants, become a sponsor for the FEACO Conference. Sponsorship package amount is 15.000 Kn, which will be used to cover costs for development and maintenance of the conference web page (www.feaco2008.com.hr). Government of the Republic of Croatia co-sponsor of European Annual Conference FEACO 2008
Government of the Republic of Croatia on their official meeting held on 31 July 2008 decided to be co-sponsor for FEACO - European Annual Conference entitled "Competitiveness, innovation, business excellence and consulting in CSE Europe" and to support development of business counseling in Croatia and in Region.
 
July 11, 2008 Ministry of Economy co-sponsor of FEACO conference
Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship (MELE) represented by Minister Damir Polancec accepted the co-sponsorship for FEACO - European Annual Conference entitled "Competitiveness, innovation, business excellence and consulting in CSE Europe" which is hosted and organized by AMC (Association of Management Consultants), and will take place 23-24 October 2008 in Dubrovnik.

The web portal for trade www.suvremena.hr has recognized the importance of the international conference on business consulting FEACO 2008, and offered media follow up along with conference promotion, with the host country being Croatia and the organizing partner AMC.
